Tennis Love

So my last post about my family life sounded like such a downer. I felt more sad than happy while reading it. So this post as the rest of them will be on a lighter note. I'll just leave it to pictures and a few words to tell the stories because I'm sure people were drowning in all the text from my last post. Sorry! hehehe. I used to write a lot back when I used Tumblr so often. I'm used to letting my thoughts flow. Let's carry on... :)

TENNIS----
Quick background story:
Every since I was little my father taught me and my sisters how to play tennis. They both liked it but I absolutely dreaded it because I had such a terrible experience. (There was so much fail involved and I injured myself countless times. lol.) I hated this sport up until high school when the school I entered had a tennis team. I just followed in my older sister's footsteps by trying out. My freshman year wasn't so difficult to get in as opposed to when she tried out the year prior to me. Here's some of my high school tennis photos from Arizona and Cagayan de Oro in absolutely no order:

The whole team my freshman year at Ironwood High School.

Goofing off during our free time by practicing at a
nearby park with my two best friends. <3

The team my Sophomore year. I love and miss these girls so much.
So many great times with them. :')
To be perfectly honest, I've never played against opponents at Ironwood
who were as great as the two girls I played in CDO. Makes me strive to be better.

Jennifer! :D We were fellow Pre-IB classmates before
and still best friends/old soccer-mates/Filipinas.

Ugh. I miss these courts so bad. I need to get my butt back to practicing. >:)

Getting my serve on at PRISAA 2011 back in CDO.

Sophomore individual tennis picture- JV
Tell me if you notice a difference between these two. :)
Fun Fact: My "power colors" for tennis are black and yellow. ;)
All because of my Wilson racket.

You know I actually got so into this sport that I even trained during the blazing hot summer before my Sophomore year so I could get a higher spot on the team. I trained at my dad's old spot where he used to play and even got a membership. To those who are hesitant to try tennis it really is such a great sport. It's not so difficult with the rules and it's fun to put yourself out there individually. I'm more of a doubles player because it's less pressure with a friend. Tennis, however, works your mental ability like chess. You need to strategize well in order to win. Hoping to get back into the courts very soon. Happy playing!
