Beauty Collection: Skin and Hair Care

Ahhh, yes. Every, or most girls, would find this topic very intriguing. For me, I'm always interested in what other girls use in their own beauty regime. I like to compare and also find reviews on products that peak my interest. Also, for me, what looks good on one person might look okay on me too. And no, I don't hold that to heart. It's just an excuse for me to explore products. And as a result from being so intrigued and concerned about skin care, I decided that I want to pursue a career in becoming a dermatologist specializing in acne. Hooray!

So this is my little inside scoop on what I use/have in my beauty collection. However, I don't want to make this post super long that is stretches out my whole blog. So instead I'll be splitting this into two parts. This one is more on beauty as in what I use to wash my face and etc. The second part will be more on make-up. I'll be showing you what I have, what I once used that I found to be really great and what I aspire to save up for to add into my make-up collection.

*DISCLAIMER: All photos were taken by me. I used a Canon 30D for these.*
If you have any questions about these products, don't be shy to ask. Now, let's get started! :)

TONERS
These are some toners I've used. The two on the left are actually empty. haha!

Burt's Bees Garden Tomato Toner
I actually went through 2 bottles of this. It's seriously THAT good.
However, this was quite a pretty penny on a student's budget but well worth it!

Nu Skin Clear Action Toner

Proactiv Toner
If you want a light toner, this would be for you.
As for me, I don't really like it but it's all I have right now.

MOISTURIZERS
I own a lot of moisturizers. It's really important to moisturize your skin no matter what skin type you are.

Beyond Belief oil-free with ABH
ABH is alpha beta hydroxy. This moisturizer is good for acne prone skin/oily skin types.
P.S: Sorry for the crappy photo. I think I deleted the better one...

Myra VitaWhite with SPF 15
Clean & Clear essentials moisturizer
This one is actually good if all else fails and you just want to calm down your skin.
It's kinda like my safety product; doesn't break me out but it's not really all that beneficial.

Olay Age Protect
It's never too early to use anti-aging products. Anti-aging is more
potent for the skin if you think about it. It's fighting to work on more "problems".

Barielle Professional white tea moisturizer- $10
This was from Sally Beauty supply. It's very thick and it smells okay.
Kinda reminds me of pear room spray, haha.

EXTRA FOR SKIN
Kirkland Signature Vitamin E 400 I.U
It's important to include vitamins so you can be healthy as well. Antioxidants will do wonders for your skin.
Also consider taking Fish Oil capsules. Think of it as cleaning your body from the inside out

Clarisonic Mia in orange- $119
Extra power to get your face wash to work better. It's a mirco-dermabrasion tool
and it shrinks/tightens pores and cleans your skin deeper than regular washing.
Comes with a magnetic charger, a sample size wash, one setting and a manual.
It's completely water proof and it stays on for one minute sessions
and then turns off until you click it on again.

HAIR

Ricky Reyes Hair Perfume- P300
I used to use this whenever I got out of the shower. I just spray it on
my ends and it makes them really soft.

Moroccan Oil
This is just a miracle in a bottle, I'm telling you. I currently use this every time I get out of the shower.
My hair is so soft and smooth and I just can't stop feeling my hair all day. Seriously.

Jojoba oil
I bought this for my face. I mix in 1 or 2 drops with my moisturizer after toning.
However, I've used this to take off my stubborn eye make-up like waterproof mascara and it works every time.

Got this from Healthy Options. :) I forgot the price though. But I think it was like P400 for the small bottle.
A little does go a long way. I bought this in September I think.

☼ Essence of Emellegien.
